Visions Art Museum of San Diego introduced a challenge to its members to make a face that’s only 14″ x 14″ and submit it by December 31st. I wasn’t going to accept this challenge, since I’d only have 2 weeks to make something. But what the heck!
I’ve done so many faces this year. This face was to be sold at the museum or donated for an upcoming fundraiser, so I knew I wouldn’t get it back. And I didn’t want make a face that I’d be doing again, later in the year. No one said it had to be a human face and, being a cat
lover, this one fits the bill.
I’m hoping the museum gets top dollar for the sale of this wall hanging.
This is a fused process with some embroidered whiskers and a little paint.
