Amanda and Mrs. Archer: Mom is going to give Amanda some pointers on voting. It’s Amanda’s first time so she will oblige Mom. Amy won’t tell her daughter who to vote for but will make sure she knows which candidate stands on what platform. It’s up to Amanda to make her own decision. Amanda volunteers at a non-profit organization which strives to keep teenagers off the streets and her mother collects used clothing from the neighborhood and gives it to the teenagers. Both women feel that if these kids can have food, clothing, shelter, and some tutoring to get through school, they will have a good start as adults.
