ASTRID – cancer victim (71”Hx17”W)
Astrid is a victim of cancer, and she is in chemo. She’s lost her hair and eyebrows and eyelashes. She just “threw on” her clothes – something soft and warm. Voting is still important, so she waits with the others – in line, hoping it won’t take too long as her energy is minimal. Astrid is convinced that there must be one good politician left in this country who is running for President. She’s concerned about the state of healthcare in this country. Her medical bills are starting to come in and her stress level is rising. How long will her insurance keep paying? She thinks of her situation and then ponders what the new immigrants would do if they got sick. She knows how fortunate she’s been so far.
